Started on 2th April 2019 with 100 students BSPSl, Birbal has earned a name for quality education and is one of the leading schools of Birbal Sagma Jharkhand.
The school has been permanently affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi on 25th April 2019. Permission is also granted to BSPS by the Council for the ISC to start Std. VI from the Academic year 2019-20.
The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions has declared BSPS Birbal, as a Indian educational institution in March 2019.
The vision of the school is to prepare students to become professionally competent citizens having concern for others, especially the underprivileged. Hence special emphasis is placed on forming students with moral values. For the all round development of the personality of the students and to make them competent, school gives special attention to the conduct of co- curricular activities.. N.C.C, the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Interact Club, Social Service Club, the Drum & Bugle Corps, School choir, Karate and Student Council prepare the students to become competent citizens to live in a pluralistic society.
The well laid out school campus with two large school buildings having spacious classrooms, well equipped with smart boards, provides the ambience for serious study and play. Ultra-modern Animal Park, Children’s park, playground for football, basketball, handball, kabaddi, kho-kho and volleyball and a gallery with a seating capacity for 3000 students are a unique feature of Xavier School. The school is well equipped with all the necessary infrastructure facilities to provide holistic education. Computerized libraries, spacious and well equipped Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology lab, Language lab, Geography lab and Mathematics lab offer superb environment to students for lab work. Besides the above facilities, the school has set up a Canteen, a Gymnasium, a Music room, an Art room and a Games room to cater to the development of each one’s talent. Rooftop solar power plant and water harvesting system show the interest the school takes to become environment friendly.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In its journey the school has crossed several milestones. Today the school imparts quality education to 1000 students. With the upgradation of school to Higher Secondary level the number of students in school is likely to increase in future.
